  I have been to Rural King many times in Angola Indiana and Niles Michigan and they were great, but the Rural King in Hartland is the absolute worst! This was 100% due to one of the employees in the Firearms/hunting department. The employee that I am referring to is the tall older man with slicked-back white/gray hair and a big white/gray "cowboy" mustache. He made me so angry that I cannot even remember what his name is! My husband and I were looking at handguns. This particular employee was so rude and condescending. He treated my husband like he was stupid. He totally degraded him in front of many other customers. After our "encounter" with this man, another customer stopped us to tell us that the same employee had just done the same thing to him. On our way out of the store, yet another customer who overheard the employee talking to my husband, stopped us to let us know that he thought the employee was being a complete ass!!!! I don't care if he thinks he knows more about handguns, he has no business being in sales or any customer-service type job. He needs to be in a stockroom where he won't encounter customers at all!!!!

  Don't waste your time or money. Their products are cheap. They rip, tear, break. They are very poor quality. However; if you decide that you actually want to actually purchase your items do not go at night. When I went with my SIL there wasn't a single cashier. Not one. There was a young girl at the service desk helping a gentleman for over ten minutes before my SIL set her stuff down and walked away.
